Refund Policy

At The Italian Pantry we strive to ensure our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, please read our refund policy below.

1. Right to Cancel:

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without providing any reason, with exceptions (see section 4 below).

2. Refund Process:

To request a refund:

  • Notify Us: Please contact our customer service team at hello@italian-pantry.co.uk within 30 days of receiving your item.
  • Return the Item: You must return the item within 14 days of notifying us. Items should be unused, in their original packaging, and in a resalable condition, with exceptions (see section 4 below).
  • Shipping Costs: You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item unless the item is defective, or the incorrect item was sent. We recommend using a tracked shipping service for returns.

3. Refund Timing:

Once we receive your returned item, we will process your refund within 14 days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

4. Exceptions:

The following items are NOT eligible for a refund or cancellation:

  • Items that have been opened or used (unless defective or the incorrect item was sent)
  • Personalized or bespoke items
  • Perishable goods (unless the product is defective e.g. mouldy)

5. Defective or Incorrect Items:

If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 30 days of receiving the product. We will arrange for a return and issue a full refund or replacement at no additional cost to you.

6. Changes to the Refund Policy:

We may update this refund policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective
